Rent clubs or bring your own when flying ?
The question many people ask themselves before they travel is, should I bring my own golf clubs or rent them when I get there ?
It can be answered a few ways:
How nice are your clubs , are you used to playing with them or used to playing different sets ?
If you are accustomed to your set of clubs, then it might be worth any hassle to bring them.
If not, then it really might not be worth it to traveling with your clubs and best to just rent or buy new ones when you get there.
But what if you love your clubs, here is what to expect:
There are very basic things you need to think about, look at your pros and cons. The pros with bringing your clubs on the trip are you'll have your clubs, you know the feel and distance, even be able to putt they way you are used to. You also run the risk of your clubs being delayed or lost in flight (no matter how slim the chance is).

With renting clubs you don't have to worry about traveling with them just play with them and leave them there. But by renting you run the risk of gettting clubs that are not fit you, and maybe of lesser quality.
End Result - You must weigh your options
If you are taking a short trip and not sure how much your going to be able play than it might not be a good idea to bring them and it might a better idea to rent or buy new ones.
Then on the other hand if you are taking a longer golf vacation then it it's best to bring your clubs and be comfortable playing the entire time.
