Spectacles of Arizona
Some of the most beautiful golf courses around are in Arizona, in and around Scottsdale offers great place to live or visit. We have played many courses and are currently updating our Arizona golf course rating section. Keeping checking back for more updated “Ty Rated” golf courses. If you have never seen a roadrunner, a 100 year old aguaro cactus, or wild quail, then you need you lay golf in Arizona.
Once you are in Arizona you’ll notice the differences rigth away, the desert has aboundant cactus life, wild birds like Roadrunners, and we ran into a Bobcat or Lynx on one course. The Bobcat was only in view for a very short period of time, so it was hard to tell but it was quite stunning to see. The Arizona saguaro cactus has covered the landscape for hundreds of years and can be seen from just about any course in the area.
Look for our “Ty Rating” of the famous Eagle Mountain golf course, we have seen some nice course but this makes it hard to find something wrong with it. Rating courses like this is what it’s all about, unbelievable views, hazards, and green grass.
The weather is Arizona is perfect for golfing vacations, it can get very hot, but the humity is low so it doesn’t feel as bad. Golfing in Florida is much worse for that reason.
