The driving range is a well done with grass open in the morning, and top quality mats in the afternoon. Green fee includes the cart, with GPS, which really comes in handy.

Many courses are easy to tell the distances, not here, it is very difficult to judge with the hazards that are laid out. Surprisingly many of the holes you first think you can use your driver from the tee box, you will end up in a gully, off a cliff, or in water. Use the GPS in the cart to help you see lay-up places and the find the best approach shot. The "Go for it"? attitude is not always the best way, normally you have tall angulations, dog legs, and water for most of the back nine to worry about.
Key Points:
1. Use your GPS
2. Pick your club wisely
3. Shorter course overall
4. Amazing angulations
5. Has extensive hazards throughout

This public course is a par 70, it is missing two par 5's from the front nine, the over all height differences can be overwhelming, this golf course is no where near flat. Some call it "Target Golf"?, well this would be a great example of target golf. You must wisely pick your club and landing place for each shot taking in all the variables. It is a beautiful environment to play for beginners, and a challenge for handicap players or scratch golfers.

It is a beautifully maintained golf course, and has great overall customer service. From the clubhouse to the driving range, even while playing the course has a beverage and snack cart with sodas, bottled water, and beers, and you can normally catch up with it every 3 or 4 holes. The staff at Coyote Hills is very curious and professional, they are happy to help with special requests. The course holds many types of golf tournaments for full members, "Coyote Club" members, and non-members.
