One thing that can really frustrate people is having a hard time finding the course. If you end up wasting time driving around trying to find it, by the time your tee off you might be pretty stressed out.
Well you won’t have that problem at Bountiful Ridge. There are signs at every major intersection as you approach the surrounding area of the country club. In our experiences this was one of the easiest courses to find.

The customer service at Bountiful Ridge is top notch, they are happy to help with special requests and quite quick so you don’t have to wait around. We were a little disappointed in the snack bar’s service, not enough staff to help the customers fast enough. During prime time it was very tuff to run into the beverage cart, we suggest you bring your own snack and drinks so you are assured to get what you want.
The play of this course is moderate to difficult. But the views and scenery can be well appreciated by anyone. The things that make this course difficult are the mainly the ruff and difficulty judging distances to green and “lay-up areas.
Since they do not provide a cart GPS, course map or guide you are left searching for a sprinkler with a yardage on it, which seemed to be far and few between. It quickly turns into a guessing game to find the right distance. For some golfers this won’t matter at all, but a lot of golfer will be disappointed.
We would like to see a course guide or map given for free when playing the course upon request. Holes like 7 and 8 are quite tuff to judge what a safe distance is to lay-up.

The other attribute that makes this a harder course is the ruff. We can only compare the ruff at Bountiful Ridge to Tustin Ranch. If you end up rolling in the ruff or just landing in it, as soon as the ball touches the ruff it stops. Once if the ruff it’s very tuff just to find your ball let a lone to hit out of it. You could be standing right over top of the ball and have trouble finding it. Make sure to take an extra one club to help you get out, and if you think it will be hard, than just lay-up it’s much safer here.
Once on the course you will immediately notice a few things like the views and amazing conditions. The only part of the conditions we did not like was the sand, it was very hard and had pebbles and rocks in it.
Bountiful Ridge is located on the side of a mountain over looking the great Salt Lake, if you lucky enough to play later in the day and see the sun setting over the mountains shining down on the Salt Lake, you will see a sunset rivaled only by the west coast as the sun would set over the ocean.
